2008 Resident of the Year - Kathy Burns
Kathy has been the chair for our social committee for the past two years and has done an amazing job of planning, coordinating, and executing many exciting and inviting social events for our neighborhood. Kathy has led a very talented and creative social committee, and we are all appreciative of the social opportunities to get to know our neighbors. |

2008 Resident of the Year - William McDaniel
William is by trade a talented electrician, and you may or may not know that William has helped our neighborhood out on multiple occasions with some electrical challenges. He has given of his time and skill by keeping the lights shining bright on N Murphy Rd so we can all find our way home; and maybe others might find a new home here at The Ranch too. |

2008 Award of Excellence - David Bottlinger, City of Murphy, Parks Superintendent
David and his team at the City have literally changed the landscape of our neighborhood. Most of our residents have spent the last two, or more years looking at an overgrown and neglected section of Maxwell Creek, which was begging for an overhaul and for someone to find the beauty that lies beneath. David has led his team to transform our little piece of Maxwell Creek to become a place that our residents now love to walk along and enjoy. Some lucky residents have a perfect view of this beautiful creek right outside their bedroom or kitchen window! The Ranch is grateful for the excellent service that David and his team have given to our neighborhood. |
