Murphy Planning And Zoning Meeting



At the direction of City Council, a public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission will be on Monday, April 26, 2010 in City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of this public hearing will be to evaluate the existing Planned Development District (#03-10-590) that governs Phases 3-8 of The Ranch and all phases of The Gables subdivisions as it relates to required shade trees.

The Gables & Ranch PD Ordinance can be found on the Documents section of the http://www.theranchownersassoc.com website. Page 9 contains the sections with the minimum tree requirements.

It is important that your voice be heard by the city on this matter. Please attend this meeting to tell the P&Z Commission members your thoughts or concerns. If you cannot attend, please email Jeff Bickerstaff at jbickerstaff@murphytx.org.

Hold a public hearing and consider and/or act on the application of the City of Murphy requesting to amend an existing PD (Planned Development) District (No. 03-10-590) for Single Family Uses regarding minimum landscaping requirements (tree plantings) located in The Gables at North Hill, Phases 1-3 subdivisions and The Ranch at North Hill, Phases 3-8 subdivisions.
